Joining Forces for Good
Fashion with - an even stronger - mission
Great News! We are excited to tell you that we have merged with Store of Hope - an inspiring & sustainable fashion brand from Finland. Both our brands are led by a strong vision aiming to make meaningful change in the fashion industry.

Kaiko was born, when founder Mirjam Sokka was wondering how she could combine her love for fashion and bring good to this world. After the Rana Plaza factory in Bangladesh collapsed in 2013 a young entrepreneur woke up to the reality of the fashion industry. She started her search for ways to do things differently.

Store of Hope was born a few years earlier, out of a dream to create meaningful work opportunities in developing countries by creating sustainable & inspiring wearables. For seven years entrepreneurs Eeva Valopaasi & Anna Takala built their production with local partners in Nepal and carried forward their brand for sustainable fashion rooting its existence in the jobs it created. Mentoring the younger team Kaiko with production & questions like “how to build meaningful work in developing countries” both parties soon realized that their dreams would succeed much better and reach much further done together.

Together we know we can accomplish great things! Joining our work and effort will allow our vision to grow even stronger - creating sustainable opportunities & enjoying fair fashion! We will be seeing the first Kaiko products made in Nepal already this Spring!
It means the world to us that you travel with us to this new chapter in our journey!
