You do not need to tie the bow in the Headwrap: the wrap is just slipped on. The Headwrap is significantly wider than a regular headband so it can also be used instead of a hat. The product has been carefully designed so that it fits well and the bow is beautiful and voluminous. The width can be adjusted by gathering the wrap either more or less when it is on. The Headwrap is very stretchy.
